About Rabbi Waxman, the Previous IHF Weekly Heritage Guest

Rav Ari Waxman is the Menahel of Overseas Students at Yeshivat Sha’alvim in Israel. He holds over three decades of experience in assisting the Sha’alvim students towards maximizing their yeshiva education.

Rav Waxman studied at Sha’alvim, followed by military service in the IDF Armored Corp. He subsequently continued his studies at Yeshiva University in the US. As a close student of his grandfather, Rav Dovid Lifshitz zt"l, Rav Waxman received Semicha from RIETS and earned an M.S. from Yeshiva University's Azrieli School of Jewish Education.

Shortly thereafter, Rav Waxman and his wife made aliyah, returning to Sha'alvim.

Rav Waxman is also a licensed Tour Guide in Israel. He enjoys sharing his passion for Eretz Yisrael while exploring the land with the students of Yeshivat Sha’alvim, as well as with the viewers of his Eretz Yisrael videos.
